By incorporating world-class engineering, Protech announces its latest Ultra Low
Voltage computing platform with 5.25-inch form factor. The LB-471 is built on
Intel architecture with Intel® Celeron® M 600MHz processor, Intel® 852GM and ICH4
chipset. The valued-oriented embedded board answers the need for fanless solution
and high performance.
The LB-471 offers plenty of expansion possibilities. With one standard PCI
slot and one EPCI bus interfaces, users have no difficulty to install add-on
module. The EPCI is Protech self-developed PCI interface. It's allowed to layer
more than three different function EPCI boards, offering even more flexibility
than current expansion card. The Compact Flash socket also provides a secured
option for data storage.
The Graphics and Audio chipsets are both integrated on LB-471. The graphic
engine is built in 852GM supporting VGA, LCD, 18/36bit LVDS for dual independent
display. The onboard audio system for AC'97 processing uses Realtek ALC202A
2-Channel codec. Other features include memory up to 2GB for ensuring the system
stability and one 10/100Mbps Ethernet supporting Wake-on-LAN with ATX power.
It is a cost-effective embedded platform without compromised performance for
many application developers. LB-471 will be the best solution for POS, medical
application and other industrial compact devices.
